Course Virtual Machine

We will be using the SEED Labs Ubuntu 20.04 virtual machine (VM) in this course. This common environment will be used for all labs and assignments, as well as the course project. To install the course VM, do the following:

1. Download and install VirtualBox for your platform.
   • Note: If you have an Apple Silicon Mac (e.g., M1/M2), you may need the “Developer preview for macOS/Arm64 hosts” available here.
2. Download the SEED Labs VM image.
3. Follow the setup instructions to load the VM image into VirtualBox and configure it for use.
